Our Animal Companions ARE mirrors. You may be struggling with an issue with your animal companion -- but chances are, there is some reflection of your own issues/challenges (i.e., it takes two to tango).
With any relationship, there are times where you totally get each other and times when you just can’t hear what the other is trying to say. It's natural to get stuck in a pattern where you feed off of each other's emotions. And it seems the more you try to fix it, the worse it gets...
AND, our dear animal companions are very in tune with our emotions, i.e., when we feel anxiety, there is a good chance they will feel anxiety. In addition, the opposite is true. Perhaps they already came to you anxious, chances are you are now feeling some anxiety (or higher sensation levels).
Conventional training methods are about 'fixing'...this is about relationship.
